BOHUNT SCHOOL, LIPHOOK

Bohunt School is a dynamic learning community whose ethos is encapsulated by three simple words: enjoy, respect, achieve. We are an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’, mixed 11-16 Academy with more than 1600 students on roll. Our academic results place us amongst the top 20 schools nationally, thus we are the state school of choice for the local area and draw students from the surrounding region, including the counties of Surrey and West Sussex.

We were one of the first Languages Specialist Colleges in 1996 and our curriculum maintains a strong international flavor. We are in our sixth successful year of Clil language immersion (French, Spanish and Mandarin) teaching. We are a busy and vibrant school with high expectations and aspirations for all members of our learning community. We are also an Apple Regional Training Centre with three dynamic learning Centre’s equipped with Green screens, iMacs, iPads and iPods and a brand new ICT suite for our rapidly expanding computer Science curriculum.

We have an upgraded and refurbished Science Block with I-pads and sensors and a dedicated STEM room for our new STEM curriculum where we are working alongside Siemens, Young Engineers, Winchester Science Centre (formally INTECH) and the Science and Mathematics Learning Centre in Southampton to expand our provision of STEM and encourage more girls into engineering.

We are an accredited Centre for Duke of Edinburgh with one of the largest intakes in Hampshire. We are also an Artsmark Gold school, equipped to bring out the best in our students with dance studio, state of the art iPad band rooms and iMac suites in music, large drama and art studios and photography labs.

We have a long history of providing outstanding teacher training, from career entrants to leadership. Winner of the TES ‘Overall School of the year’ and ‘Secondary School of the Year’ Award 2014.

THE PETERSFIELD SCHOOL

Standards, stability and success characterise our successful Academy. The Petersfield School is a stable, highly successful school serving south-east Hampshire and West Sussex. TPS welcomes students from a wide geographical area, who value the security, high academic standards and focus on education with character. Our 1250 students aged 11-16 thrive in an environment where behaviour is outstanding, relationships are excellent and opportunities are plentiful. Public examination results are always well above national averages and we focus on the individual success of every child.

We are celebrating our ‘diamond decade’ in 2015, as the region’s premier performing arts academy and are also continuing to expand our STEM provision both in the curriculum and with after school clubs and competitions.

We are an outstanding provider of teacher training all the way through from those at the very start of their careers and NQTs up to those training for leadership roles. We are an accredited centre for Duke of Edinburgh awards and take over 100 students successfully though Bronze or Silver awards every year.

Rake Church of England Primary School is a small village primary school with a friendly, family feel and a great reputation. It is a stimulating and supportive environment in which all children have the opportunity to develop their individual talents. CHICHESTER FREE SCHOOL

Chichester Free School, founded in September 2013 and judged Good in all areas by Ofsted in its first inspection this year, is a thriving through-school serving Chichester and surrounding areas. With a current pupil roll of 570 pupils, CFS was created by a group of parents to provide much-needed extra school places and a distinct approach to education, with a longer school day and an emphasis on academic rigour and participation in a wide range of activities. Ofsted highlighted the ‘strong and positive ethos in the school which permeates all aspects’ and the higher than national average of children making better than expected progress.

Welcome to our picturesque school which is set in the small village of Greatham (nestled in the South Downs). The school began in 1911 and now has 7 classes catering for up to 210 children.
